Hi everyone! I wrote a post about 25 Dupes for High-End products a while back that it seems you all have been loving. I am always trying out new beauty products and looking for inexpensive alternatives to the luxurious items I love. So I thought it was time for another round-up! Here are 25 more cheaper alternatives to those expensive high-end products we enjoy so much. I hope this list helps you find an alternative to the expensive products you love so you can look fabulous and save money doing it.
Benefit POREfessional primer has been a favorite by makeup lovers for a long time because of its ability to reduce the appearance of pores and help makeup stay put. The Baby Skin primer from Maybelline also helps your skin look smooth and poreless, and at a fraction of the price of the POREfessional.
I tried the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer early 2016 and fell in love with the way it smelled and the way it hydrated and refreshed my skin before I applied makeup. The Sheer Envy Hydra Prime primer has some of the same ingredients as the Hangover Replenishing Primer and ends up giving a very similar effect to the skin. It's worth a try if your skin feels dull and dry before you put on your makeup.
The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is the epitome of a cult favorite beauty product, loved by celebrities and makeup gurus alike. It gives the skin a radiant, silky finish and glides on so smooth. The L'Oreal True Match foundation has a silky finish as well and provides the same amount of coverage as the luminous silk foundation. I love the way the True Match foundation feels like a second skin, while making your complexion look fantastic.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation is a thicker, full coverage foundation that manages to look natural and feel nourishing to the skin. For a more inexpensive option, try the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation, which gives the same matte finish with full coverage and stays put all day.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer does a great job at keeping eyeshadow from creasing throughout the day, but it's way too expensive for someone like me! The e.l.f. shadow lock primer is my favorite inexpensive eyeshadow primer because it really helps my eyeshadow look great all day, and I have very oily eyelids so that says a lot!
The Naked palette is one of the best selling eyeshadow palettes ever, with a great array of neutral colored shadows with silky soft finishes and lots of pigment. There are tons of dupes out there for the naked palette but my favorite so far is the Covergirl TruNaked Nudes palette. It has a few less colors but the shades give me everything I would need to create tons of looks. I can travel with this palette and no other shadows and be perfectly content. The shadows feel very high quality and I love the shades that are included.
Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Contour Palette $48 & Makeup Revolution Ultra Eye Contour Light and Shade Palette $15
The Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Contour Palette is a fairly new palette at the time of this post, and has a pretty unique shade selection. The Makeup Revolution Ultra Eye Contour Light and Shade Palette has very similar shades of eyeshadow and at about a third of the cost, definitely a bargain.
Benefit They're Real Mascara is very popular and does a good job of both volumizing and lengthening the lashes. Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara is a great alternative that really separates and lengthens the lashes so they don't end up looking clumpy.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed is a beautiful nude-pink blush that is perfect for everyday wear and will look great on any skin tone. The Milani blush in Romantic Rose is a great color match, and although it is not marketed as a longwear product like the Tarte Amazonian clay, it is a great option for someone looking for an everyday subtle pink blush.
The Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer gives the skin a natural looking hint of color, and is one of the most popular matte bronzers on the market. The NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder is a great dupe for it and is only about one tenth of the price.
CoverFX Custom Cover Drops is still a pretty unique type of makeup, it can be used to create your perfect level of coverage depending on your skin's needs. The Hard Candy Mix-In Pigment Makeup Drops are an excellent dupe, in fact I actually prefer the finish! So if you are wanting to try the CoverFX drops but don't want to spend $44, I would highly recommend the Hard Candy makeup drops.
Benefit High Beam provides a beautiful glow to the skin, I love how the liquid formula melts into a liquid foundation or onto your bare skin and makes you look so glowy. The E.L.F. Shimmering Facial Whip is a great way to achieve this same look at a much cheaper price point.
Makeup Forever HD pressed powder mattifies and helps blur our skin imperfections, while still looking undetectable to the eye. You really don't need to spend $37 to find a great pressed powder though, because this one from Essence looks amazing on the skin and I honestly can't tell the difference when I am wearing them. NYX makes a great HD pressed powder too if you have trouble finding the Essence in stores.
Bobbi Brown Brightening Powder in Porcelain Pearl provides a beautiful glow to the skin that is hard to find in other products. The NYX Radiant Finishing Powder has the same effect on the skin as the unique Bobbi Brown product and is about one fifth of the price.
I love the Ben Nye Banana Powder because it helps set and brighten your undereye makeup- it was made popular by Kim Kardashian and has become a makeup favorite loved by many. The Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder is an excellent alternative and gives the same brightening and mattifying effect as the Ben Nye.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense is a lightweight yet super moisturizing cream that will not clog your pores. If your skin is dry and sensitive, I think this product would be great for you. The Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream is a great less expensive option that does has all the benefits as the Clinique Moisture Surge.
Josie Maran Argan Oil is an amazing product because it sinks into your skin and provides tons of moisture. I love to mix a drop in with my foundation to make it more hydrating and go on smoother, and I also use it when my skin is feeling extra dry. I love the Shea Moisture as a dupe, and that's what I have been using more recently because it is so much cheaper and I honestly think it is just as good.
Bioderma Micellar Water cleanses the skin and refreshes without overdrying. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water has the same effect, and I love these micellar waters for when you dont have access to a sink or when you are too tired to wash your face but you want to get all the makeup and dirt off.
The Glamglow supermud clearing treatment is a great mask for when your skin is congested or you feel some breakouts popping up, it will help clear everything and purify your skin. L'Oreals new line of clay masks has 3 great inexpensive options, but I love the Detox and Brighten Clay Mask as an alternative to the Glamglow.
The Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask is a luxurious anti-aging treatment infused with 24K gold to help lift and firm the skin. I love the immediate affect gold masks give my skin, they are so lifting and brightening. The TONYMOLY Luxury Gem Gold 24K Mask will do the same at about one fourth of the price.
Wen by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner was one of the first popular products that acts like both a shampoo and a conditioner, which helps you avoid overstripping your hair and drying it out. The Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner is my favorite option from the drugstore, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for something less drying than a regular shampoo.
The Oribe Ultra Gentle Shampoo will help you clean your hair without feeling like you are drying out your hair. I love ultra gentle shampoos on days where my hair isn't super dirty but I still want to refresh it. The California Baby Super Sensitive Shampoo and Bodywash is a cheaper option and I love the way it cleans my hair with no strong fragrances or stripping ingredients.
Kerastase products are so luxurious and also very effective, but they are also super costly. The Reflection Chroma Riche Hair Mask hydrates parched hair and leaves it much more hydrated. The Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm from L'Oreal gives a very similar effect and is one of my favorite hair masks from the drugstore.
CHI Silk Infusion Silk Reconstructing Complex $27.50 & Got2B Smooth Operator Leave In Conditioner Luxe Lotion $6
The CHI Silk Infusion Reconstrucing Complex is one of those classic beauty products that tons of girls love. It infuses hair with tons of moisture and leaves it soft and smooth. The Got2B Smooth Operator Leave In Conditioner is a more affordable option that has a cream consistency rather than oil, but penetrates the hair in a way very similar to the CHI silk infusion. My hair feels the same after using both of these products, and I love the smell of the Got2B Smooth Operator- it's amazing!
Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oleo-Complex Beautifying Hair Oil $70 & L'Oreal Expertise Oleo Therapy Perfecting Oil Essence $13.29
Both Kerastase and L'Oreal Paris are owned by L'Oreal so when they came out with the Oleo Therapy Oil Essence I had to try it and see if it would be a dupe for the Kerastase Elixir Ultime- and it is! Both are infused with Oleo-Complex and many of the other same ingredients. It is one of the best hair oils I have tried, and it leaves my hair so smooth, silky and hydrated.
