Many of us would love for our lips to be plumper and fuller. The most dramatic solution to small lips is surgery, but it's very expensive, often goes wrong, and can have unpleasant consequences. Below are some ways you can make your lips bigger naturally from the comfort of your home! Implement each of these tips at least once a day and you'll be surprised how much plumper and more kissable your lips will look.

Use Natural Remedies Instead of Chemical Plumpers

There are plenty of ways to make your own lip plumpers at home using essential oils and natural plumping ingredients. The effects of natural plumpers last longer than the store bought chemical products and you can totally personalize them! Here are a few ideas you can try:

Cinnamon Oil
Cinnamon essential oil is a common ingredient in many over-the-counter lip plumpers. It stimulates the capillaries in your lips and enhances blood flow to plump them. Mix a drop of cinnamon essential oil in with your favorite balm or gloss and rub over your lips. It might feel slightly tingly immediately after application, but the feeling will disappear quickly and leave your lips plumper and pleasantly scented with cinnamon.

Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil works in essentially the same way as cinnamon oil to plump the lips. It's a slight irritant which makes the blood flow to your lips so that they swell up a bit. Peppermint, though, has a nice cooling effect and can freshen your breath as well. Mix one or two drops of peppermint essential oil with a teaspoon of petroleum jelly or vitamin E oil and use it as you would a lip balm.

Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper is very potent and should be used sparingly. Add 1 or 2 drops of cayenne pepper oil to your lip balm or combine a very small amount of ground cayenne pepper with some water and rub
it over your lips.

Coconut Almond Balm
Mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with 1/3 tablespoon of melted cocoa butter and 20 drops of sweet almond oil. This makes a super moisturizing balm you can use any time to replenish dry lips. Add in a couple drops of any of the essential oils listed above for a great DIY plumping gloss.

Brush and Exfoliate Your Lips

Every time you brush your teeth, make sure you brush your lips a little bit as well! Rubbing over your lips gently with your toothbrush will benefit both their texture and appearance. Brushing them will remove dead skin cells, make your lips smoother, and will also stimulate blood flow and circulation which will make them slightly plumper. For even more benefits, you can apply honey or Vaseline to a dry toothbrush before you scrub your lips to make them even soft and moisturized.

Natural Scrubs

As described above, exfoliation helps improve blood circulation to make your lips swell and look slightly larger. Removing the dead skin through exfoliation makes the lips stay young looking. You don't have to use the toothbrush trick, though, as there are plenty of ways you can make natural lip scrubs at home. One easy recipe is to mix a small amount of sugar and water into a thin paste. Then add a few drops of moisturizing oil (such as vitamin E or olive oil) and apply the mixture to your lips. Massage the scrub into your lips using small circular motions, then wipe off and apply a lip balm or gloss. After using a lip scrub, your lips will look plump and rosy.

Lip Exercises

Lip exercises are a great way to help you make your lips bigger naturally, without any surgery or chemical treatments. To see results, you'll have to be persistent with the exercises and repeat them daily for at least a month and continue with them 3-4 times a week after that. These exercises tone the facial muscles to make your lips plumper in a completely natural way.

Whistle

Since people who play musical wind instruments regularly use their lip muscles, they tend to have bigger and fuller lips. You can achieve those results the easy way by whistling for 3-5 minutes a day as strongly and loudly as you can.

Smile & Kiss

Purse your lips together and smile as wide as possible. Hold your smile for 5 seconds, then pucker your lips and push them forward as if you were kissing someone. After 5 seconds, smile again. Repeat this exercise 15-20 times a day.

Rotate & Shift

Press your lips together firmly and move them as far to the right as you can. Hold for 5 seconds, then shift them to the left side. Repeat the exercise 15 times. Another move is to keep your mouth closed while pushing your lips forward, then slowly rotate clockwise twice before moving in the opposite direction- this one should be repeated around 10 times.

Keeping up with each of these practices and taking care of your lips will help them look considerably fuller and softer in no time. Good luck in your quest for bigger lips!
