Hey everyone,
So I've talked a bit about e.l.f. products before (and I'm actually an affiliate with the company), and I really love them because you can get professional-quality makeup, brushes and other cosmetic products for SUPER cheap. I mean, how many places can you get mascara for 1 or 2 bucks? In my Back to School Makeup Tips post, I actually did a 'Top 10 e.l.f. makeup products', so check that out if you're interested! But today I wanted to do a post on some of the new products they've introduced in the past couple of months. There are some really cool new items (my personal favorites are the blush palette, the mineral pearls and the smudge pots) that would be fun to play with and add to your collection.
Mineral Pearls in 'Skin Balancing' (above) and 'Natural' (below): $8
These mineral pearls (which are being hyped as a dupe to the Guerlain 'Meteorites' Pearls) will give you a sheer, illuminating wash of color. The pearls are designed to blend together so that they complement any skin tone and make the skin look flawless and radiant. The formula includes Vitamins A, B, C & E to condition and hydrate the skin for a smooth, silky finish.
Studio BB Cream SPF 20: $6
The Studio BB Cream is a truly multipurpose product, as it primes, protects, moisturizes and perfects all in one! It includes anti-aging ingredients such as Vitamin E, Jojoba, Aloe and Cucumber which are great for nourishing and hydrating your skin. The formula is also smoothing, as it was developed to minimize fine lines while giving a natural wash of color for a naturally even complexion.
Pressed Mineral Bronzer: $5
This pressed mineral bronzer is great for sculpting and for creating a healthy bronze glow. It's super soft to the touch and very blendable- the formula is infused with Vitamin E and Grape for added nourishment and revitalization.
Studio Hydrating Under Eye Primer: $3
What's an under eye primer, and why do you need one? Well, if you have dry skin you could really reap the benefits. They prime the under eye area to prevent concealer from creasing and wearing off. This one includes Vitamins C &E, Green Tea, Aloe, Ginkgo Biloba and Shea to nourish and condition the area. The result will be a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and wrinkles.
Studio Blush Palette: $6
There aren't too many blush palettes on the market, but they are really so fun to play with! This one contains four beautiful shades that you can mix and match to create tons of custom cheek colors that will work any time of the year. The silky-smooth, pigmented formulas are great for contouring, sculpting, shading and highlighting!
Essential Smudge Pot: $3
These smudge pots are similar to the Maybelline Color Tattoos or the MAC Paint Pots, with a smooth gel formula that glides on evenly. They're long-lasting, pigmented and can be used as eyeshadows or eyeliners, and they'll also nourish and hydrate the eye area with their Vitamin E-infused formula!
Mineral Waterproof Shadow Liner: $3
The long-lasting waterproof color from these shadow liners will last for hours while conditioning the eyes with Vitamin E and Aloe. They can be used as liners or shadows, and the creamy formula is easy to apply but won't smudge, run, or fade throughout the day.
Essential Volumizing & Defining Mascara: $2
This mascara creates a voluptuous look by plumping and defining the lashes. Vitamins B & E condition the lashes, while the dense silicone brush evenly coats the lashes for an beautiful look.
Studio Moisturizing Lipstick: $3
The finish of this lipstick is vibrant and luminous, and it glides on smoothly due to its velvety, satin texture. It's enriched with Vitamins A, C, & E to nourish and hydrate the lips (which is always a plus), and it's rich and creamy to seal in the moisture for long-lasting color and comfort.
Essential EX-tra Lip Gloss: $2
These glosses are super-pigmented and smooth, and loaded with tons of conditioning ingredients like Avocado, Grape, Sunflower and Cocoa Butter!
So those are some of the newer products from e.l.f. that I'm so excited about, and I hope y'all are, too! E.l.f. is really an awesome brand for beauty-lovers on a budget- I've even done a whole face of makeup for $10 using their products! They've really improved over the past few years with the addition of their Mineral and Studio lines, and you can even buy them at Target now if you're not so into online shopping. Hope you guys enjoyed this!
